the limit remover is intended for the tournys marked LR. if it is used in the other tournys,especially the long range; then it is considered cheating.atleast that is how i have read things.the mod packs are not considered cheating because they are available to anyone who wishes to download them. any modding done by an individual to the game and used in the tournys is considered cheating. think i got that right. _________________ not all those who wander are lost. |

Welcome to the site, hellspawn.
The guys answered already ( thanks guys ) .. I'll put my 2 cents in though.. as long as your weapons in the mods are close to federal regulations than it's okay to use them. The only weapon in the mod that is not is the air rife ..but it was only suppose to be used in the mini games it was thrown in there by accident.
The Gentlemen Agreement was created so no one would fuss much I go with whatever the creator of the tourney has played or posted. Though, I've not played a tourney in probably a year. _________________ Support Our Troops & Keep them from Harm

If it's in the retail version of the game, it's not cheating. If it's an add-on or a change that is not accepted or oficially condoned by the manufacturer of the game, it's a Cheat. Pretty simple from a legal standpoint it's all cheating.
From the point that most here (and most everywhere), seem to feel, it's OK if the people who have control say it's OK. That's how it works here and how it works everywhere. If someone with absolutely no authority or control makes a cheat, it's a cheat. If someone with authority condones ar accepts it, it's a cheat, but now it's OK.
I am not knocking this forum or this site. It's just a fact. Driving 35mph in a 30mph zone is illegal, but no one cares any more. Downloading software without paying the retail license is illegal. Modifying software without knowledge of and written permission of the software manufacturer is illegal, but no one really cares any more.
Do I use cheats? Yep, sure do and I don't care either.....
Now I'm done.......  _________________ I Have Issues.....

lol thses are miner issues there are much bigger things then cheating and 5mph ova the speed limit, there are much bigger things that no one cares about...but the fact they dont/wont even get involed in it..
but like you said,. there are a few ways of seeing it, i mean all the work Ita has done we cant start bagging him now,.. and cheat as it may be, it was welcomd and supported a got upgraded to the SU and it realy made it more realistic with more shooting distance, like i dont think a tutorial/or trainer on how to change/hack game files on tourneys would be accepted...lol
Oh and im not haveing ago at you N.A.H _________________

@3000yrd shot
As I said, just fact and Not Knocking anyone! I think that the abilities ita has are Fantastic!! Just a great guy and yes I will use the mods, cause I don't care about cheating. For me, the end result justifies the means and it's up to each individual to do as they feel they need to and it's the law's responsibility to catch them....
Why did I start? Just can't keep my mouth shut........ _________________ I Have Issues.....

Mods or add-ons are not cheats. If you look at all the big game manufacturers and distributors like EA, Ubisoft, and Novalogic, the one thing they rely on is people who will mod their games. The more mods and add-ons for games, the more popular the games. The more popular a game becomes determines the revenue it'll generate over the years. Games like Ghost Recon, Farcry, Call of duty are still very popular because of the mods and add-ons offered for the games. There are tons of websites dedicated just to those few games. And the game companies also offer servers dedicated to use the mods and add-on with. Mods and add-ons are enhancements for the games where Trainers are cheats for the games. That's the difference between them. Any Modder or game maker will tell you the same. Everything offered for the HU series are mods or add-ons. There are trainers for HU but they are called CHEATS. When you do certain things in the game it does say cheated on it.
